This Mixed Media Sea and  Beach  art work ‘CAREFREE’, depicts two boys running into the sea together. Their figures are simple silhouettes, emphasising the purity of the moment.
 
The sea and sky are rendered to blend into each other, creating an unbroken horizon that suggests the vastness of the scene. Instead of a traditional seascape, the water and sky are composed of strips that resemble old, weathered boat wood, with layers of peeling paint revealing the wood underneath.
